CAFE
Beginning October 1, 2024 the cafe hours will be 8:00am – 3:00pm.Rosh Hashanah and Break the Fast reservations are still available. Call 774-634-9910 to reserve your seats. You can view both menus on our website under Cafe Updates.

POOL/SPA
One of the pumps that run the Main Outdoor/Indoor pools was hit by lightning this week. We are now waiting for a new pump delivery date. The PBC Landscaping Inspector is requiring us to submit an Architectural Landscaping plan to now include the spa, pool and outdoor dining area in one design layout. This needs to be submitted before a permit will be issued to complete the fence installation for the Spa, the landscaping around the pool and the installation of the pavers for the outdoor eating area.

MAINTENANCE BUILDING
The slab form boards have been installed.
The underground plumbing rough is complete.
The dumpster enclosure footing is complete.
The underground electric is in progress.

FOOD SUPPLY DRIVE – OCTOBER 1st – NOVEMBER 1st.
Many families and seniors who experience food insecurity rely on donated food at pantries to help them stretch their budgets.Please help by donating one or more of these Non-Perishable items.Cereal, Pancake Mix, Pasta, Rice, Beans, Lentils, Peanut Butter, Mac & Cheese, Canned Soup, Canned Tuna, Chicken or Salmon, Canned Vegetables, Instant Potatoes, Shelf Stable Milk, Plain Applesauce or Fruit Cups, Crackers, Stuffing Mix, Granola Bars and Dried Fruit.You can drop your donations off at the clubhouse.

BINGO – FRIDAY NIGHT – OCTOBER 4, 2024
The game is canceled due to Rosh Hashanah.

HPA ENTERTAINMENT – WINTER SHOWS – TICKET SALES
On Monday October 7, 2024 tickets will go on sale at 9:30am at our box office and online for the following two new shows:

THE MID ATLANTIC MEN – Saturday, February 1, 2025 @ 8:00pm.
JAMES STEPHENS III – Saturday, February 22, 2025 @ 8:00pm.

Tickets are $25.00 per ticket, per show for the above two shows. If you are purchasing at the box office, have your checks already made out to the HPA. You can also purchase tickets using a credit card. Tickets are still available and can be purchased on Monday for Beatlemanix, Elton John “Rocketman”, Jayne Curry and The Bronx Wanderers.

COVID-19 FREE TESTS
Once again the government is giving out free COVID-19 tests kits. You are eligible to order 4 free COVID-19 kits at COVIDtests.gov. The tests will detect current COVID-19 variants. Data continues to show the importance of vaccination to protect against severe outcomes of COVID-19 and the FLU including hospitalization and death.

FLU CLINIC
We had over 100 residents receive their Flu shots. Unfortunately, they ran out of COVID vaccines. Over 30 residents were able to sign up for the COVID vaccine on Monday morning at Publix. Thank You Karen Bleier for another successful clinic.
