Click here for meeting link:https://huntingtonpointe.net/meeting-information/ CAFE – CREDIT CARD USE IS NOW AVAILABLE. CAFE – NEW MENU The price of eggs has steadily increased over the past months by 38.64% since January 1 of this year. For various reasons, this does not seem to be ending soon. This subject has been discussed by the Cafe Committee and DaLa. The information was also sent to the HPA Board members. Therefore, Lance (DaLa) is going to be following the other local establishments and increase the price of egg entrées accordingly. The breakfast dishes with two eggs will have an increase of $.50 and for omelettes $1.00. He has printed new menus to reflect the new pricing, which will take effect on Monday, March 17, 2025. The new menu will also be available via the website on the 17th. CAFE – DINNER BEFORE THE “SIMPLY TINA SHOW” On Saturday, March 8, 2025, dinner will be served from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse ballroom. For Reservations and Pre-Order, call 774-634-9910. Please have your tickets available for entry into the theater. If you use a walker, please tag it with your name and seat number. An Usher will take your walker and return it after the show. Please follow our theater etiquette, which includes No Shorts. The Box Office will be open Saturday night from 6:30 pm to 7:50 pm to sell last-minute tickets. MAIN OUTDOOR POOL Residents need to dry off before entering the clubhouse. Exiting the pool dripping wet and walking directly into the clubhouse is causing the mats to become soaking wet. This water is being tracked into the locker rooms, which makes this dangerous. CONCERT SERIES – NIC & DESI – MARCH 12, 2025 Wednesday night’s show will start promptly at 8 PM. Please be on time. Seating will begin at 7:15 PM. Please have your tickets available for entry into the theater. If you use a walker, please tag it with your name and seat number, and an Usher will take your walker and return it to you after the show. Tickets are still available for this show at One Stop Shopping. ONE STOP SHOPPING – MONDAYS/WEDNESDAYS 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Located on the lower level in Card Room #1. You can purchase (checks only) tickets to the concert series, clubs, and organization events or pay membership dues. There will be several handicapped parking spots blocked off. Please refrain from parking in this area. MUSIC AT THE MAIN POOL – SUNDAY, MARCH 16, 2025, 1 pm-3 pm. Dance Party 3X is a trio of female singers who will be here for your enjoyment. Green will be the fun color to wear for this afternoon’s event. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME – MARCH 9, 2025 @ 2:00 AM Remember to move your clocks AHEAD one hour and “spring forward” before you go to bed Saturday night, creating an extra hour of daylight in the evening and cutting morning light short by an hour. FINAL EDITION This is the last weekly “To The Pointe”. My term as President of the HPA comes to an end next week. Thank you for your kind words and support. It’s been an honor and privilege to serve our community. ENJOY LIFE! Susan Levine |
