We encourage residents to use caution while in the gym. We have rules posted on the gym wall. By using these amenities, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and well-being and agree to abide by the rules outlined for your protection and enjoyment. Jason, from Body Wellness, will be at H.P. on December 15th and December 16th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to demonstrate how to best utilize the gym equipment. There are sign-in sheets available at the Front Desk. Please sign up for whichever equipment you would like to learn more about. These will be group sessions. All questions will be answered after the demonstration of the equipment is over. Any concerns, please contact Gloria Santilini at 201-396-1022. HPA BINGO We have received several complaints regarding last Friday’s Bingo event. We need to address the issues that occurred. A number of residents were excessively loud and brought alcohol to the event. Please remember that alcohol is strictly prohibited unless it is an authorized, approved function held in the ballroom or administrative events. Despite being asked multiple times to lower their volume, the individuals involved chose not to comply. This behavior was disrespectful to the volunteers who work hard to run the event and disruptive to those who were trying to enjoy their evening. This conduct is unacceptable, and appropriate action will be taken. We would also like to clarify our guidelines regarding food at this event. Residents are welcome to bring small snacks; however, this does not include appetizers, sandwiches, or hot food. Items such as chips, pretzels, and cookies are what we consider appropriate for small snacks. SATELLITE POOL RENOVATIONS NORTH POOL During an inspection, there were some concerns about the finish on the coping (curb). We asked the Contractor to make improvements, which they agreed to. This forced the application of Diamond Brite, scheduled for late November, to be canceled and rescheduled for December 15th and 16th. The pool should now be open in early January. WEST POOL The pool has been drained and inspected. Unfortunately, the same hidden efficiencies found on the North Pool appear to be present at the West. Thin walls and a severely rusted gutter system will need to be addressed. We were cautioned at the onset that the true condition of the pools would not be known until work started. The contractor and our consultant are working to get all issues remedied so the pools will be returned to H.P. in far better condition than when the work started. ROADWAY/WALKWAY REPAIR PROJECT The Paving Project is progressing well and remains on schedule. The crew is nearing completion of the walkways, with work continuing smoothly and without issues. Once this section is finished, they will begin repairing and servicing the damaged parking spaces. Residents with covered parking spots will be contacted as needed to move their vehicles, ensuring the work can proceed efficiently. Overall, the project is moving along as planned, and updates will be provided as the next phase begins.
