| TO THE POINTE Susan Levine, HPA President January 26, 2024 Good Morning Residents, CLUBHOUSE The Billiards room is closed from 8am – 4pm until Tuesday to fix the chair rail. The Steam in the steam rooms have been adjusted. The A/C is being monitored as we try to reach a temperature that is comfortable for all. LOCKERS Shelving for the lockers will be installed on Tuesday, January 30th between 9am and 4pm. Clubs and Organizations need to have all their lockers emptied by Monday night. The Lockers in the Ladies and Mens locker rooms will be unavailable for use on Tuesday. Thank you for your cooperation. CAFE – SEAFOOD OR STEAK DINNER – 5:00pm – 6:45pm Dinner before the Jane Curry Show on Sunday January 28, 2024. Reservations are required. Call Jeff @ 774-634-9910. Click on the Menu bottom below. BLUE CARD REFUNDS The refunds are being worked on. As soon as the checks are ready you will be notified. Thank you for your patience. HPA ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS **JANE CURRY** SUNDAY JANUARY 28th. We ask that you arrive on time. Seating will start at 7:15pm. The show will start promptly at 8pm. Please have your tickets available for entry into the theater. If you use a WALKER please TAG IT with your NAME and SEAT NUMBER. Walkers will no longer be allowed to be placed against the front stage. An usher will take your Walker and return it to you after the show. Please follow the Theater Etiquette, which includes NO SHORTS. Click on the Theater Etiquette button below. DRIVEWAY REPAIRS Our vendor is available to start the repairs of the remaining 14 driveways. We are waiting for approval from our Attorney and Paving Lady before we can move forward with this project. We will keep you informed as soon as we get the approval. SPANISH CLASS Are you interested in learning basic conversational Spanish? Laila Petruzziallo, who heads our book club and is a retired language teacher is starting a class. It would be one day a week for 60 minutes. If you are interested, please call her at 631-796-2697. MOVIES Scooters and Walkers are not allowed to be kept in the aisles. In case of an Emergency this could delay quick exiting from the aisles. If you use a Walker, please tag it with your name and leave it in the back of the theater. If you are unable to walk without your Walker the back row of chairs are for your use. FITNESS STUDIO We are asking residents who participate in our exercise classes, to please NOT wear perfume or scented lotion to class. ART EXPO – 2024 This event has been cancelled. Look for us in 2025. THEATER ARTS – HELP WANTED If you are willing to volunteer your time and have technical knowledge in Sound and Lighting systems, we are looking for you. PICKLEBALL COURTS – PBC LEAGUE PLAY The courts will be closed on the following dates and times: January 27th from 10am – 1:30pm, February 3rd from 10am – 4pm double teams.
