| Good Morning Residents, The Board approved the following motions: To ratify the binding of the Clubhouse Property Insurance, including coverage of the new maintenance building, with a renewal date as of May 15, 2025, at a total cost of $290,093. To approve the transfer of $20,000 per month from the Community Contribution Fund to the Special Assessment Fund to repay the $2 million loan borrowed from South State Bank. This monthly amount has been allocated from the Community Contribution Fund since January 2024, and this motion formalizes the ongoing repayment agreement that was previously voted on December 19, 2022. CAFE – MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND DINNER Dinner reservations are available for Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. To make a Reservation or to Pre-Order, call 774-634-9910. The association is actively working to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding. LAKE FOUNTAINS The North and South Lake Fountains have been turned off due to the lowering of the water level in the lakes, causing muck to be pulled up through the pumps of the fountains. MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY – MONDAY, MAY 26, 2025 A short ceremony will be held in front of the Clubhouse Flag at 12 noon. Millington Way will be closed to vehicles ONLY in front of the Clubhouse from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. HPA EVENTS – MUSIC AT THE POOL – MEMORIAL DAY Please join us on Monday, May 26th, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm to listen to the music of Michael Wray of the Steel Factory Band playing the steel drums accompanied by Angela. HPA EVENTS – JULY 4TH CELEBRATION Tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, May 27th, until Friday, May 30th, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am in the Pre-Function room until sold out. Tickets sold in order of arrival. Two tickets per HP address. HP residents only. Non-residents, tickets available after June 2nd, space permitting. Checks payable to HPA. HPA BOX OFFICE CLOSED ON MONDAY, MAY 26, 2025 HPA ENTERTAINMENT – SUMMER SHOWS – $10.00 PER TICKET Tickets for our summer shows in June, July, and August are available at the box office on Mondays/Wednesdays, 9:30 am – 11:30 am, and on our website under show tickets. CARD ROOMS We have received many complaints about card shufflers being used in the card rooms and the constant ringing of cell phones. We do not allow card shufflers. We ask that you silence your cell phones (put them on vibrate) and take your calls outside of the rooms. Every room in the clubhouse has rules posted on the wall by the light switches. To view these rules, please click on the button below. WATER AEROBICS Only TUESDAY classes have been cancelled until further notice. CARPORT CLEANING For those residents who are looking at the tops of the carports and complaining, they are not cleaned. They are cleaned. What you are seeing is the original color of the aluminum. After many years of power washing, the powder coating, which is white, has been worn off. We cannot paint the carports. The intensity of the summer sun in Florida will cause the paint to bubble and peel. Memorial Day is the day that’s set aside to remember with gratitude and pride all those who served and died for our country and our freedom. ENJOY LIFE!
