TO THE POINTE
SUSAN LEVINE, HPA PRESIDENT
FEBRUARY 20, 2026
Good Morning Residents,

CLUBHOUSE
While swimwear is appropriate at the pool area, it is not considered proper attire inside the Clubhouse. This includes wearing bathing suits with only a towel wrapped around the body.  Visitors must wear proper cover-ups over bathing suits when entering or walking through the clubhouse. Men must wear shirts when leaving the pool area. We appreciate our residents’ cooperation in ensuring that their guests understand and follow these guidelines. These standards help ensure that our shared spaces remain welcoming and respectful for all. Thank you for your understanding and support.

HPA BOD FEBRUARY 16, 2026 – SUMMARY
The Board approved the following motions:

To accept the insurance proposal from IOA with a $5000 deductible, effective March 1, 2026, with the exception of property coverage, which renews May 15, 2026.

To adopt the following Board Resolution: The open or concealed carrying of firearms on or within any of the Community Areas of the Huntington Pointe Master Association (as well as any improvements thereon), including but not limited to the clubhouse, café/restaurant, amenity areas, and recreational areas, shall be strictly prohibited. Exceptions shall be limited solely to on-duty law enforcement officers, on-duty security officers employed by the Association or any of its agents, and professionals engaged by the Association to control wildlife. For purposes of this rule, the term “firearms” includes all guns of any caliber or size, as well as BB guns, pellet guns, and stun guns.

To approve the Coping upgrade at the West Pool in an amount not to exceed $20,000, including materials, labor, and permits.
The entire meeting is available for viewing on our website.

NORTH POOL
At our recent Board meeting, we carefully listened to the concerns shared regarding the North Pool. We want you to know that your comments were heard and taken seriously. Following the meeting, I asked Asher Solomon and Bob Marvey, both Board members who regularly visit the pools, to go to the North Pool with a detailed list of concerns that were raised. They found that the majority of the items discussed are maintenance-related. We have confirmed that many of these issues are already on FM Pools’ current punch list, and the remaining concerns are being reviewed so they can be properly addressed. We understand how important the Pools are to our community, especially during the busy season. Please know that we are actively working with our vendor to ensure these matters are resolved as efficiently as possible. We currently ask for your patience and understanding as this work is completed. Thank you for bringing your concerns forward and for helping us keep our community a place we can all enjoy.
