TO THE POINTE SUSAN LEVINE, HPA PRESIDENT MAY 3, 2024 Good Morning Residents, MAY IS AN ODD MONTH Park on the Odd numbered side of the street. CLUBHOUSE The Steam Room in the men’s locker room has been completed. It is now available for your enjoyment. A new AED device has been installed in the Gym. We are waiting for the weatherproof cabinets to be delivered before we can install the AED devices for the Tennis and Pickleball areas. We do have an AED device at the shuffleboard court. CAFE The cafe is now opened from 8:00am – 2:00pm, Monday – Sunday. You can pick up a meal from their “Grab and Go” or call the cafe at 561-563-7770 to order from the menu to take home. POOLS The indoor pool is completed. An additional lap lane and hand rail has been added. The pool is in the process of being filled and then chemicals will need to be added and balanced. BOCCE COURTS Work continues on the two new courts. The vendor is in the process of installing the base which consists of several layers. MAINTENANCE BUILDING We have received notice that our Building Permit application is almost complete. It has already passed two of the three phases. NORTH/SOUTH LAKES The water levels are very low, this is normal for this time of year. Our irrigation system operates from the water in the lakes. Until rainy season is in full swing, and the lakes start to fill, Maximum Landscaping will be cutting down irrigation in some areas. BINGO – TONIGHT – 7:00pm – CLUBHOUSE BALLROOM We will be having new games and instructions. Please arrive by 6:30pm to purchase your cards and markers. Small bags of snacks are permitted at this event. FITNESS STUDIO – SPECIAL SATURDAY CLASS Jineen will be holding her Chair Zumba class at 10:00am. HPA SUMMER SHOWS – SAVE THE DATE MICHAEL McGEEHAN – AUGUST 17, 2024 MARCEL & MARCELA RASA – SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 Tickets will go on sale at the Box Office for these TWO SHOWS ONLY starting June 17th. MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE We are having a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday May 27th at 12 noon. This will be held at the Flag in front of our Clubhouse. All residents are invited as we remember our veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. You are welcome to bring a chair if you are unable to stand for this brief ceremony.
