NO PARKING IN FRONT OF THE CLUBHOUSE
We keep writing about this and yet Residents still keep parking their vehicles in front of the clubhouse. We don’t want vehicles parking on our newly stained tiles for obvious reasons. There is also a fire lane and parking in front blocks this lane. If this continues we may have to resort to issuing fines.

CLUBHOUSE WELCOME PARTY
This past Wednesday, December 13th, DALA sponsored an opening appetizer party in our new ballroom. The Steering Group, the Events Committee, the Cafe Committee and HP could not have been happier. We were delighted. It was not an easy task serving 730 guests with three different shifts. The DALA staff, along with their managers Sonia and Jeff made it look easy and did a wonderful job. We had a 99% positive feedback from the residents on how good the food was, and how they enjoyed this event.

Wayne Goodman and Harvey Shapiro along with the rest of the HPA Board surprised
the Steering Group with a beautiful speech (attached)and a large plaque that will be placed permanently in the clubhouse. The plaque recognized the group for their devotion to the multi year project that modernized and beautified the clubhouse for the enjoyment of our community. Each member also received an individual plaque.

THANK YOU
A special Thank You to the Events Committee, Cafe Committee, and the volunteers who gave hours of their time giving input; ordering necessary items; answering questions; distributing and taking tickets. It is not just for the party Wednesday evening. For those who attended the opening show with Sarge, these same people, along with some board members, offered their services in taking tickets, helping those with mobility issues and seating. They stayed till the end to make sure all left safely. We are so very grateful as without them, we would not be able to function and produce wonderful results.

TRAILERS
The large staff trailer will hopefully be removed from the parking lot by Monday. A larger trailer will be replacing it. The staff will empty the contents of the four small remaining trailers into this one larger trailer by the end of January. The small trailers will then be removed. The larger trailer will remain in the parking lot until the maintenance building is built. We cannot relocate this trailer due to the electrical hook up that is needed to run the air conditioning.
The last Shed has been removed.
