We are working on dimmers for the lights and sound panels for the Fitness Studio.Punch list items are still being worked on. New shelving is being installed in theArts & Crafts and Ceramic room. We are waiting for Matrix to adjust some of the gym equipment. CAFE – DINNER BEFORE THE SHOW JANUARY 17, 2024 – 5:00 pm- 6:45 pm Reservations are a must. Call Jeff @ 774-634-9910. This is a first come, first serve situation. Seating is limited. See attached menu. CONCERT SERIES – BACHELORS OF BROADWAY The first show of the season is on Wednesday, January 17th at 8 pm. We ask that you arrive on time. The show will start promptly at 8 pm. Please remember wearing shorts is not allowed. Remember to turn off your cell phones in the theater. BOX OFFICE HOURS – MONDAY & WEDNESDAY 9:30 am – 11:30 am. CONCERT SERIES TICKET PICKUP January 15th & 17th at One Stop Shopping.January 16th at the Box Office 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. January 17th at the Box Office 11:30 am-3:30 pm. HPA BOD MEETING Please join us on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 10 am via Zoom. https://huntingtonpointe.net/meeting-information/ HPA EXPO There were many residents, for one reason or another, who could not attend our HPA EXPO on Sunday. This event gave the residents an opportunity to see what each club and organization is about. Please find the attached list of those clubs and organizations and their contact information. COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD It is located inside our clubhouse as soon as you walk in, by our side door entrance. This is where you may post notices if you are looking for Scrabble, Dominoes, Chess, or any Mahjongg or card games. LIBRARY There is a definite need for Large Print books in our HP library. Since we depend on donations, anyone who owns such books and would like to help us create a small collection for our library, please consider dropping them off. If you have difficulty bringing them yourself, call Hillary Yagerman @ 516-532-4030, and she will arrange a pickup! AED/CPR TRAINING – FEBRUARY 8, 2024 – 10:00 am – BALLROOM The PBC Fire Rescue will be conducting this training class. Seating is limited.If you are interested in taking this class, you can sign up at the front desk. FITNESS STUDIO Please see the attached updated schedule for January. CHARITIES There are three charitable organizations at HP that need your support. Hadassah is having a Card Party and lunch, ORT America is having a Mystery Night and dinner, and PAP Corp. is having their Walkathon for cancer research. Breakfast will be served after this event. We encourage residents to participate in these events or make a donation. For dates and information, please see the January/February lifestyles, look for their flyers at the information center in the clubhouse, or go to One Stop Shopping on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
